2: Is your house clearance service VAT registered?
YES, we are a VAT registered company as well as being fully registered with the tax office.
3: Do you need to do a visit to the house needing to be cleared?
NO, We can provide you with a quote after a conversation over the phone, we will ask you some simple question in order to give you a qoute to carry out the house clearance on your behalf.
4: Can you clean the house after the house has been cleared?
YES, we provide a general clean, this can be booked in at the same time you book a house clearance. The clean will be done on the same day of the house clearance.
5: How much does an average house clearance cost?
House clearance fees vary, as you can appreciate no two houses are the same, we can give you an instantaneous quote over the telephone or via email and the quote you receive is the price you pay. We do not add additional expenses when we get to the house or after we finish the house clearance. Our quoted price is final. There are no covert prices or extra hidden charges with us. We do not charge you extra to dispose of refrigerators, fridges freezer, TVs or mattresses. Call us and we will explain our charges and how we operate over the phone and can give you our quote in writing (email) before we clear the house.
6: Will you clear all contents of the house?
YES, All household items will be cleared including carpets and underlay if required. Some things are categorized as hazardous materials such as paint chemicals which we are not licensed to take. We can advise you how you can dispose of these items for free.
7: Are items recycled or reused?
YES Where and whenever possible, we will constantly want to decrease what ends up at the recycling centre, by taking all appropriate re-usable items to a charitable organization.
8: How long does it usually take to complete a house clearance?
The majority of houses we clear are cleared within 4 to 5 hours. Some will obviously take longer and some houses we clear can be completed in under 2 hours. It all depends on the number of items to be cleared and clutter if any. Bigger houses with outhouses, garages and lofts needing to be cleared, will take longer.
9: Am I required to be at the property on the day of the house clearance?
NO, A lot of our customers who can not be present due to other commitments, such as work etc or travel distances often post us the keys (Signed For Postage) or we can collect the keys for the property from a neighbour or liaise with estate agents or a solicitor on your behalf. Simply tell us before the clearance whats to stay and whats to go within the property and we will work to your instructions.
10: What happens to all the rubbish?
All rubbish only goes to a registered waste recycling centre, anything decent than can be reused will find a new home via various charities.
